Stone furniture is back and better than ever! In particular, we’ve noticed stone tables of all sorts and types being all the rage – dining tables, coffee tables, side tables, & consoles. From marble, travertine, limestone, terrazzo, and even onyx, design lovers of all types are coming back to the roots of nature’s raw elements.
It’s hard not to notice the shift towards calm and neutral-based interiors these days. After all of the chaos over the last year and a half, more and more of us are reaching for grounding color palettes, warm textures, and organic forms, and nothing gets more organic and textural than natural stone. Stone is quite versatile and can be used for a variety of styles from geometric, sculptural, and over-scaled to clean, sophisticated, and streamlined.
We have been seeing everything from a resurgence of vintage-inspired Post-Modern pieces from the ’80s to bold and minimal showstoppers that feel like a futuristic version of ancient Rome, and we just can’t get enough!
