We focused on rich materials for this stunning single bathroom renovation. The Breccia marble acted as the showstopper here creating the drama for the space. Other natural materials accompanied the stone adding rich layers and darker metals were selected to add contrast and depth.

A full scope renovation rooted in a merging of California Modern and Transitional styles. For this young family, we focused on livability, a casual materiality approach, and fresh a perspective to timeless selections. Sticking with mostly a neutral palette, we added layers through textiles, wall coverings, and a handful of vintage family heirloom pieces.

Sticking with a mostly neutral palette, we focused on adding warmth, texture, and softness to the existing space in order to create a cozy environment for these homeowners. Moments of color and whimsical art present themselves too as we carefully curated bursts of interest in the end styling touches.

A traditional historical craftsman located in urban San Diego, Project Kalmia embodies the character of its roots while modernizing and upgrading the foundation of the home. We focused on deep tones, pattern, and layered color to create depth. Livability was also key for this family, so we selected a mix of wearable, durable furnishings and of course a good dose of vintage to pay homage to the Arts and Crafts style.
