There's no rhyme or reason to this week's blog post. I'm simply featuring things that have struck a chord with me lately. Some may be "on-trend," and some not... Regardless, I hope you enjoy my roundup!
1. Rose Quartz Inspired Terrazzo by Concrete Collaborative
It's no secret that I am passionate about terrazzo tiles. This rose colored palette is a fresh and feminine take on the material that has made quite a comeback this past year in design trends.
2. Upholsted breakfast nook: @mandymakes (Mandy Johnson)
Sophisticated, sexy, and design forward, Mandy nailed it here. I love the color and of course the texture of this upholstered look. I would feel so fancy if I got to eat here every morning!
3. Rugs used as staircase runners
This is a great way to add color and pattern to a space as well as liven it up. I've seen a bunch of DIY tutorials on creating your own rug runner online. This can be a cost effective way to add personality to your space, depending upon what your rugs cost you!
4. Oak Bench from Counter Space
Let's face it... anything from this LA based furniture store is beyond stunning. I'm drawn to the leather top and refined lines.
5. Black Matte Fixtures
I've always gravitated towards matte versus sheen. I'm really feeling black matte lately, and am currently using it for an upcoming project.
6. Vertically Stacked 2x12's - Heath Ceramics
I love the layout and thickness of these tiles. I also love the slight color variation that adds so much dimension. It's a great pairing with the wood shelving.
7. Lighting from Schneid Studio
I love all of their lighting, so it was hard to choose just one. It's organic, interesting, and thoughtfully designed...
8. Sunwave print from Block Shop Textiles
I want every single print from Block Shop. It's hard to feature just one, but this is my favorite.
9. Indie Home Collection: Willow Buffet
I need this piece now. It's beautifully crafted and right on trend with the wicker/rattan/cane craze of this year....
10. Kat and Roger Ceramics
I love their color choices. I love that their designs have a retro-vintage feel but are ever so fresh, and I want one of each please...
Hope you enjoy this week's roundup!
